It was a lazy day here. Rained all day. A lot.

Rained a but here as well.

I am thinking of buying a spindlesandel. Any recommendations?

I've only used two of them. My current shop has a little Delta, and it's a piece of crap. My last shop had a bigger Jet. That one was pretty nice.

I think I am going to make a jig to hold my belt sander. It won’t oscillate, but I think it’ll get the job done. (It’ll take me two hours to make the jig so that I can do 60 seconds of spindle sanding, but c’est la vie .) I’ve actually been thinking of doing this for years... The least expensive spindle sander is $140.

I think that’s a good call.  The Delta I have now is probably in that $140 price range, and it’s a hunk of junk.
